Dan Brown
Da Vinci Code
I have wondered for a long time, how come my strictly religious parents even got themselves to buy this book (in Slovak)? Nevertheless, I was excited to read it and read it within two days. It's one of those books you do not mind having twice. Intriguing, excited, frustrated, and finally pleased with the ending.
And don't forget to watch the movie (even though they changed the plot to be more attractive) with beautiful Audrey Tautou and charming Tom Hanks.
Angels and Demons
Which book can you read over and over again and it never stops entertaining you? For me, it is Angels and Demons by Dan Brown. This book was first introduced to me by the media, my parents were very hesitant to buy it, since to them, the author was a controversial one. They were pretty strict when it came to literature in our household and the strong religiousness did not help it. Therefore as I found the Slovak version of this book under the Christmas tree, I was so excited and thrilled, that both books (Angels and Demons & Da Vinci code) were swallowed in a matter of three days.
Later, during my travels, I came across this English version and knew that this one would get me through a long exhausting night at The airport of beautiful Edinburgh.
