Romance in life
Every once in a while you need to feel loved. Outrageously, obscenely, gigantically flushed with love. It makes you feel worthy, pushes the clouds of doubts away, increases your self-confidence and you believe in your capabilities more and more. This love is not to be taken recklessly. You need to cherish the love you have, the healthy relationships where boundaries are present, where you flourish together with your partner and are there for each other in moments of need.
This kind of love is also found in books, since people craving for love, experiencing love, or remembering love, write them. I, too, enjoy a nice romantic novel, book series, movie, tv series. Sometimes you need the shallows of those stories to spark interest in you, to re-evaluate whether you have what you want. Romance should be part of our everyday lives. We should create romantic moments for ourselves. We are the ones who keep ourselves occupied, who are our forever partners. I strongly believe, that adding romance to everyday lives and common moments can improve the overall outlook on life. Romanticizing the time we spend without other people not only forces us to think about what we like, and what we want to experience. It shifts the focus of attention from others to ourselves. Happy me is a safe way to happy people around me. It has been mentioned several times, in millions of different ways: your happiness, and your well-being influences the microcosmos you live in.
I like diving into romantic stories, collection of them on my very own bookshelf is increasing. One of the reasons is the series. I like collecting books from authors, stories that are interlinked, or even the same cover. When I read these stories I travel to different parts of the world, stories do not stay in the UK or the USA. I make myself lost in the stories to inspire me. I do not like books that focus on a physical connection, I'd prefer fantasy to smut, both of which you do not find in my book collection. I like the emotional attachment. I do not care for the sex scenes that make smut so popular.
I enjoy the characteristics of the plot, and the travels the heroines and heroes do. I like the traveling and cultural aspect of books that are light-hearted, and love-filled, and prevent me from wasting time by endlessly scrolling on social media. I enjoy these stories because they fill my heart with hope for better tomorrow. Regardless of how frustrated and down I may feel, a correctly chosen rom-com on screen or in books improves my mood.
I enjoy a good romance with recurring characters, that is the reason for the series by Julie Caplin and her romantic escapes. They remind me of places I had once visited and inspire me in travelling to new destinations.
Series of books on a romantic note published by metafora for the continuity of book covers regardless of the author. Even though you can guess the course of the book most of the time, I do not find these books dull and enjoy them as a pastime reading and diving into the romance of literature that does not harm.
Every day should have some time devoted to love: showing affection to beloved people and, most importantly, to ourselves. Let us not be too harsh in judging our capabilities, let's be kind to ourselves and the people we care about. Let's find the right thing to bond over with yourself, your friends, and your family members.
